Do you think my soon to be subjector, Prince William, will like the wedding present I bought for him?

I've always wondered how the British people felt about having so called Royals above them. Being from the U.S., I can't imagine living my whole life watching people that are in their positions just because of the family they were born into, Lord their positions over the "little people."
