Bio Oil for cradle cap?

I've heard that its quite good for cradle cap but I'm not sure if there's any age recommendations, my little girl is 12 weeks. Its not that bad now, I used baby oil and a soft brush and it almost completely got rid of it, but I can't seem to find the baby oil now and I wanted to try the Bio Oil but I'm not sure if she's too young. If anyone has used this or has any other ideas could you please share any info? Thanks :)
