Need help, physics questions!?
The nucleus is bounded by a force known as the strong force. there is no attraction between the neutrons and the protons in the nucleus, so there is no electrical force playing a role. The electric attraction between electrons orbiting the nucleus, and the protons in the center are what keep atoms together.
