How to be a better flyer on stunts for cheerleading?

I'm a cheerleader, and I'm a flyer. I used to fly but after 2 years of quitting I got scare of things. On extensions I'm afraid to go down...and when I go down on cradles I drop my head back. On limp I kicked my bases and back spot in their faces. If anyone have tips about being a flyer please help me....thank you very much
