Can an 18 year old in Alabama purchase a car in a different state where the age of majority is 18 unlike in Al?

I am an 18 year old who is a resident in Alabama. I understand that a person under the age of 19 cannot sign any legal binding contract. But with that said, is it possible for me to go to a neighboring state where the legal age is 18 and legally sign a lease to get a car?
