What do you think this dream means?

When my dream started, I died instantly. My soul was bound to the earth. I could still interact with the living. They could touch me, I could touch them. They just couldn't see me or hear me. I was with my family and boyfriend the majority of the dream. The part that made me most upset was when I tried to interact with my boyfriend. I touched his arm to let him know I was there. He put his hands on my shoulders. I tried to talk to him and he said "I wish I could see you when I know I'm directly in front of you. I wish I could hear you when I know you're trying to speak to me." I just lost it in the dream and when I woke up I was still crying for like 30 minutes or so. What does this kind of dream mean?
