Is Greece, the cradle of democracy, in the process of becoming a Caliphate?

Greece's problems stem from the Socialist mentality that in time cripples the industrious nature of it's citizens. Living in a culture where nobody works hard, and everybody gets freebies, it is inevitable that the free ride in life ends for everyone when the bills are not paid. Now with a group of minimally skilled, minimally motivated people how do you provide for the group without people willing to work and expand their skills. Greece is doomed and so is all Socialist thinking cultures.
